it is winter again

back to bumi deutschland about a month ago.. winter is coming again urgh i hate to think about the minus degree, the cold air etc

anyway back to school again and just realised we never had a 'photo with our university'

im at home yow.. spent my summer break undergone another internship as a perdana fellow (google this cool thing..!! then apply for next year eh)

going to finish my internship soon.. tho it's supposed to be only for 2 months but my boss 'forced' me to extend it for another one month. demyuu hahs

now have to think about my thesis.. already made a proposal and thank god my company accept the tittle. the problem is i don't wanna stay there for another 4 months... aaargh how to deal with this kinda problem.

have exams coming at the end of july and then its fasting months with eid lagi.. so i cannot picturing myself still going to work 40hours per week. i need my freedom of time.. god please show me the way

crazy weekend dedicate for tennis and postal voters

..tennis..

sebenarnya i'm not poyo yang sesaje nak minat tennis but i still remember how it all began..

when i was a child i used to play game boy that belongs to my cousin.. so i played the tennis game. looks like so much fun hitting the ball and so on. from that moment then i know how the point works.. 15, 30, 40, deuce, tiebreaker etc

and as i grew up.. by reading lots of newspaper esp sports then i get to know all the top tennis players.. agassi, hewit, steffi, martina, federer and the list goes on. first time i played tennis when i was in Essen while doing my degree.. lucky i have marni who taught me everything about tennis..!! she played quite often too before coming to Germany

then later i became a big fan of maria sharapova and rafael nadal.. and last month i found out that maria will join the porsche grand prix tournament in Stuttgart. so without having any second thought i bought the semi-final and final ticket.. hoping that maria will march through till final and winning the tournament - plus driving home a new porsche hahs


..postal voters..

last time back in 2008 i'm not even a registered voter with SPR.. well maybe lack of awareness on this matter. i was in Germany and at that time there's no such thing as postal voters for malaysian living abroad.. only this year they started to implement it.

alhamdulillah i went back in 2009 and i registered when i was attending an exhibition at PWTC - i think. and this year i applied for a postal voters..


..tennis and postal voters..

well well well.. the date finally confirmed that we have to go to frankfurt on 28th April for this postal voters thingy. awesome as the date clashed with the final game of the tennis tournament..!!

honestly i'm a bit frustrated with this but hey that's the risk.. and you have to deal with it right

so then began my crazy weekends..

27th april (saturday)

1130am : early lunch
1400pm : watched semi-final tennis where maria won the game..!! she met li na in the final
2000pm : on the way to Frankfurt by bus
2300pm : arrived and stayed at a friend's house
0200am : bed time finally urgh

28th april (sunday)

0930am : arrived at Consulate and cast my vote.. pickup my passport
1000am : on the way back to Stuttgart by bus
1300pm : arrived at Stuttgart
1400pm : watched final game.. and as expected maria won it..!!

the critical time was in between 930am-1000am.. because i only have 30mins..!! and to walk from consulate to the train station is around 10mins but alhamdulillah everything went smooth. a successful plan =D

honestly it's craaaaazy but at least i've done my part and my responsibility for our country.. now it's your time. don't forget to cast your vote on 5th may..!! ini kalilah hehs
